I've been fairly busy getting everything ready: I graduate next week and start work a fortnight later. Really looking forward to it!
... well, except for the packing, and getting all the paperwork done, that is.
In between enjoying the recent nice weather and not enjoying getting everything ready (Employment paperwork hoop-jumping process ugh!), I've been taking the time to have a look at the couple of photograph sets currently clogging up my hard disc still awaiting upload. I've been sifting through them and uploading them (Some are from last November!). I want to have them uploaded, if possible, before I start work. Once this batch of photographs is uploaded, I don't know when I'll be able to upload again for the time being, as I am unsure whether internet access will be available at the Hospital Accommodation I will be moving into. Rest assured I shall still be taking photographs, but it may make things more difficult uploading them for the foreseeable future.
As regards my recent trip to Land's End, I realised that as I'll be moving away from Devon soon, I really should take the opportunity to at least visit it. Once there, I was pleasantly surprised at just how picturesque it is. This was completely different to my memories of a pretty grim John O'Groats. It was helped by having a sunny, almost windless, day. I also realised that I have, as many do, journeyed between John O'Groats to Land's End ... but I've done managed to do it in a very circuitous route that has taken me, give or take a few months, almost exactly twenty years. It took a while, but I managed it.
